Position Description: Excellent opportunity for a highly-motivated, self-starting, service-oriented team player to assist in providing extraordinary customer service to members at the Dunigan Family YMCA membership desk. Associates will be responsible for providing excellent member service, membership and program enrollment, phone inquiries, assisting members with questions/concerns, as well as building supervision in the evening and some weekends. Building Supervision consists of tours to perspective members and the enforcement of YMCA policies and procedures, as well as member and guest code of conduct. This position requires a minimum of one weekday shift per week and a minimum two weekend shifts per month.
Requirements: Outstanding customer service and leadership skills, a high degree of accuracy with information provided, and ability to multitask and to communicate effectively.
Training: New Employee Orientation, Child Abuse Prevention (CAP), and Bloodborne Pathogen (BBP) training must be completed before the employee's first desk shift, and CAP/BBP must be renewed every year. First Aid, CPR, AED, and Oxygen training must be completed within the first 60 days of hire and renewed every two years.
